Biography of Sung-Kyun Kim | Chapter 14:19 Part 0

In 2015, Prof. Sung-Kyun Kim visited Indonesia three times: On January 17 ~ 25: Bali and South Sula-wesi for 2 lectures and several sites. On September 06 ~ 13: Bali and West Nusa Tenggara (Lombok Island) for IFLA  APR Council Meeting, IFLA  APR International Congress, ACLA International Symposium, and several sites. And, on December 19 ~ 27: DKI Jakarta and West Java for plants nurseries observation, project partnership approach, and some sites.



The general layout of the biography book, like the other chapter is in form of two lanes with photos in left side on A5 pages.


In this chapter, contributor (Anita Syafitri Arif) compiled the documents and stories into three parts, namely:


Chapter 14-19 Part 1

2015 in Indonesia: 17 ~ 25 January in Bali, South Sulawesi and Bali Again. On P.02 to P.17.


Chapter 14-19 Part 2

2015 in Indonesia: 6 ~ 13 September in Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (Lombok) and Bali again. On P.18 to P.35.


Chapter 14-19 Part 3

2015 in Indonesia: 19 ~ 27 December in DKI Jakarta and West Java (Bogor, Bandung  Cimahi), and Jakarta again. On P.36 ~ P.50.

THE SPIRIT OF ACLA   Since he was a child, Sung-Kyun Kim had paid lots of attention to the natural environment and Korean traditional culture in his homeland, in Korea. Sung was born in the city of Mungyeong-si, three years after the end of the Korean war.   The history which divided the country on the Korean peninsula into two, North Korea and South Korea. Sung's hometown is approximately 200 km from Seoul City by bus, and 153 km by train. Its location is southeast of the capital.
